In getting ready for my Top 10 Books of 2011, I thought it would be nice to hear from our readers what their favorite book of the year was. I rarely end up reading books that make the big lists, but I always have a difficult time selecting only 10 favorite books of my reading year.
What was your favorite read of the year? Did you have more than one?
Xenofreak Nation by Melissa Conway. She's got a couple others that are well worth reading in the Gossamer Sphere series. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11533728-xenofreak-nation
A School for Villains by Ardyth DeBruyn. I know Ardyth, so maybe not fair. However, my enjoyment of this humorous MG fantasy is based on darned good writing.
