It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Mailbox Monday - Jan 17

Welcome to It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Mailbox Monday.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

Welcome to the third Monday in January. Hope you are having a great year. Last week, I was installed as the 2022 President of the Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley. I am excited to lead this Association for the next year.

This past weekend was bitterly cold and we are expecting snow today. I feel like I need a parka, gloves, hat, and boots just to show houses. I've seen some pretty ones lately.  Hope to be placing an offer on one this week. On Wednesday, photos will be taken at my new listing in town. Lots going on for the first few weeks of the year.

In my reading world, I finished this one off. My review appears here

I am also reading this one.

I should start this one this week as well. Since it is my first book of the year, I better get cracking.

I will review the first chapter of this one on January 25.

These two don't have a deadline, but I need to get them on my schedule.

After that, I need to review this one at my children's book blog in February.

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

I really need to stop buying books... even if I am buying some used ones and saving money. It is so unlike me to splurge on myself. Some of these books are from my publisher, 4RV Publishing. Others are just books I wanted to pick up.

I also picked up these two Kindle freebies over the weekend. I guess the other 658 on my list needed friends. At least I've read a few of them, but I need to get better about reading the free ones.

That's it for me this week. Hope you will share some of your books. Enjoy your week.

Congratulations! Nice looking assortment of books. That bundling up sounds quite normal to this resident of Northern Minnesota. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

Thanks, Mary. Was mighty cold and wet this morning.

Emma, I am expecting this book list will definitely keep me busy...possibly for half the year. :)

Thanks, Laurel. I also ordered the first spin off book to the Tradd St series.

Thanks, Beverley.

Thanks, Kathy. Your winter has been colder and snowier than mine, so I bet bundling up sounds like the norm.

Thanks for visiting, everyone.

Congratulations on your installation. I hope you have a wonderful year of leadership!
I keep filling up on free books and audios with subscriptions. Those are easier for me to read.
You picked up some good ones this week with great variety.
Have a good week. Bundle up to stay WARM and happy Reading!
