It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Mailbox Monday - Apr 12

Welcome to It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Mailbox Monday.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

Welcome back to Monday. How was your weekend? I took a rare weekend off of real estate--well, mostly. I needed to get some things done around the house. The cleaning of the bonus room has now been started so that we can convert it into an exercise room, and the garden bed is finally in the yard. I probably should have ordered two, but I will see how this one goes first.

I finished this cute book, perfect for Earth Day, over the weekend. You can find my review at The Children's and Teens' Book Connection

I am still reading these two.

I also started this one.

These are the next few that I need to read.

Mailbox Monday is a meme started by Marcia of To Be Continued. Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. It now has a permanent home at the Mailbox Monday blog.

This week my physical mailbox was empty, but I just ordered some books from Christianbook.com. They have a 99 cent sale going on through tomorrow. I will share these books once they arrive.

I found one of my favorite books on the list if you're interested.

In Beyond Me, readers will have ten chapters of thought-provoking text that helps them see clearly the distinction between their ever-increasing clash of cultures―the clash between life and death or, in other words, you and me. Written in a warm, personal, and easy-to-read-and-understand style, Beyond Me is an invitation to pursue true discipleship. In poignant, humorous, but always vulnerable and meaningful examples, readers will find current, historical, and biblically documented insights and teachings to support this call to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.

That's it from my neck of the woods. Hope you have a great week.

Septuagenarian caught my eye--maybe because I'm not as young as I used to be!
