It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are, and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
Happy April, everyone! We had some April showers this weekend. How about you?
Lots going on around here. Real estate showings and happenings left me without a day off this past week, but after this coming Wednesday, I think it will slow down. We had dinner with friends over the weekend. The other half and I tried a new restaurant for date night on Friday. Attended three events last week and won a couple of raffle prizes.
Here are a few photos from last week:

at MGM Springfield

As far as reading goes, it's very slow. Simply no time. Need to finish this one.
Started listening to this one on Audible.
Only 24 days left on NetGalley for me to read this one.
These two are next in line.
Mailbox Monday is a gathering place for readers to share the books they added to their shelves the previous week. This weekly meme is now hosted by Vicki at I'd Rather Be At The Beach.
Since Dean Butler signed my hardcover of this book, I used my last Audible credit and bought a copy of the audiobook to read instead.
This arrived from Random House on Friday. This latest true crime novel from Caitlin Rother is coming out in June.
Since I want to read more classics, I grabbed the next two from Thriftbooks.

At Christmas Year Round I shared more Christmas... in the News this week. Check it out here.
At the Children's and Teens' Book Connection, I asked what people thought about NaNoWriMo shutting down. You can read that post here. Received some responses on my X.com post, but none on my blog.
That's it for me. I am posting early because I have to be on the road first thing in the morning. Looking forward to checking out your posts.

I'm supposed to lead the book discussion of James this summer, and I hope to read Tom Sawyer again then. Good luck with your reading!
You have so many great looking books! I love that your are doing so much Little House reading. I loved the Little House books as a kid, and I still reread them. :)
Great photos of books and food!
Sounds like a very busy week. Your books look good too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
What a busy week for you. That food looks so good. I hope you enjoy your books. The Dean Butler one looks like something I would like. An audio of that is a great idea. Enjoy! Have a great week!
Sounds like a very full week. Hope this coming up is good for some reading!
I hope things do slow down so you can read more :) Do you listen to audiobooks when you are traveling from house to house?
That sounds like fun, Deb. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks, crackercrumblife. I've loved the Little House books for decades, though the show is what made me read them. Appreciate the visit.
Thanks, Laurel. Hope you enjoy your week.
So crazy I didn't even visit your blog yesterday. Off to do that now. Thanks for the visit, Kathy.
Very busy, Yvonne. But I guess it beats the alternative. Hope you get to read Dean's book. Thanks for visiting.
Thanks, Kathryn. Appreciate the visit.
Thanks, Cindy. Yes, that's why i started listening. I'm on the road so much, I guess it makes sense to use that time wisely. Thanks for visiting.
