Today we spent the afternoon in Manteo to celebrate America's birthday. They always put on a great show with music, games, and an awesome fireworks display. This year, they also paid tribute to TV legend Andy Griffith, who passed away this week. Griffith was born in NC, and at the time of his death was living at his coastal home in Manteo.

Hope you had a great day!! We ventured out of the house to watch the display on the beach, but first had to make sure all of our cats were safe and sound - all the noises really spook them!!
