Welcome to It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Mailbox Monday.
It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
Welcome back to Monday. I'm coming off a hectic week of meetings, showings, appointments, and pretending to clean the house. Despite all that, I managed to read a bit and enjoyed attending a wedding (one of my clients got married on Saturday).
Speaking at the RAPV Legislative Breakfast
Me with our upcoming president and a member of our board of directors
RAPV Community Service Committee Free Shred Event
Sunday commemorated the 21st anniversary of 9/11. I did not attend any events this year, but the Rick's Place Annual Golf Classic is next weekend. This is this other board that I am a member of. Rick's Place is named for Rick Thorpe, a Wilbraham native who was killed in Tower Two of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. We offer free grief support to children, teens, and their families. The need for our services continues to increase. Donations are always appreciated.
As far as reading goes, I managed more than planned. I read this helpful resource. My review appears here.
Still reading this seasonal title.
My review of Big Red will appear on September 23.
I started reading this business book for my September 28 review.
On September 27, look for my First Chapter Review of this middle grade fantasy novel at The Children's and Teens' Book Connection.
I will review this historical novel. Originally scheduled for October 7, this review has been moved to October 20.
I just signed up for a new book tour this week. I know, I told you I wouldn't do that as much this year. :) This review is scheduled for October 28.
Then I hope to read these.
Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
No new books in my mailbox, but I downloaded two Kindle freebies. Yes, I recall I wasn't going to do as much of that this year, either. This might not be the time to tell you I have downloaded 11 more freebies than I did in 2021. At least one of them is by one of my favorite authors.
That's all from me this week. I have morning appointments, but I will visit blogs this afternoon. Hope you have a great day.

I was so bummed that The Counterfeit Wife wasn't quite up for pre-order doing Barnes and Nobel's pre-order sale. Oh well, I will need to bite the bullet because I enjoyed the first in that series and can't wait to see what happens in this one.
I think we all tell ourselves we won't sign up for another blog tour and lo and behold! What do we do!! Enjoy those great looking reads.
A list of most unusual books. I have not gone on a blog tour for a while, but hope you enjoy.
I keep intending to read books by Melissa Gilbert.
Great photos, and have a good week!
Sounds like you are keeping quite busy. Your books look entertaining too. I'm glad you are finding some time to read. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
Supply chain issues causing delays seems to be our new normal, Mark. I wish it weren't so.
You are so right, Kathryn.
Thanks, Harvee. Next fall I hope to tour with my new book if we can get it out on time.
She writes well, Laurel. I hope you have a chance to read something by MG.
Yes, Kathy. Busy, but happy.
Thanks for stopping by today, everyone.
Does sound like a busy week! I like the look of Hidden. Looks like maybe a mysterious read :)
Wow, you did get a lot more reading done than I would have. Have a great week.
Enjoy your mailbox treats!

Greg, Vannetta is so talented. I've never read a book of hers I didn't like.
I am glad I caught up, Serena. Thanks for visiting.
