It's Monday! What Are You Reading? - Aug 17

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

Welcome back to Monday. I hope you had a great week. In addition to writing a chapter or so in the women's novel I'm working on with my sister, I picked up a new editing job. So, not a lot of reading happened.

I started this one.

I plan to start this one over the weekend.

Next up are these.

I would like to read these to review at my children's book blog.

Then I am free to read whatever I want as long as I don't sign up for any more blog tours. Let's see if I can control myself. :)

What are you reading this week?

The laughter one looks good and the kind of book we need these days. Yes to children's books, just a piece on our news this evening saying young people in NZ not so keen on reading these days. I hate that.

It's hard to always say no to those blog tours. They can be very tempting.

Thanks, Greg. Writing was slow going for a bit, but ended strong. This week is crazy, so probably not much writing will happen, but even if I get an hour I will be happy.

Thanks, Beverly.

We definitely need some humor these days, Kathryn. My girls don't read like they used to, which makes me sad.

Thanks, Shelleyrae. Appreciate you stopping by.

It is hard to say, no, Marg. I used to coordinate them, so I do my best to be supportive.

Thanks, Laurel. Appreciate it.
