It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
Welcome back to Monday. I hope you had a fabulous week. On this Veteran's Day, I wish to extend my sincere thanks to all who have served our country. May God bless you and your families.
This weekend, I took my first full weekend off since before we left on vacation. Though I sent an email and answered a text or two, most of the weekend belonged to family and tasks around the house.
In my reading world, I've begun to prepare for next year's reading. I'm rearranging my books and going through the bookshelves to donate some to the library, and then make sure I have only the books I need to review on the shelf in my office. It looks like I am down to about a dozen printed ones. I can't even think about the e-books yet. My Kindles are coming to the end of their lives and I'm not sure when I will replace them.
Last week I reviewed:
The Emotion Thesaurus
Federal Pianist
Silent Meridian and A Pocketful of Lodestones
I started this book last night. It shouldn't take me long.
What are you reading this week?

When I moved, my TBR print pile dwindled to almost nothing...we won't talk about the e-books! LOL.
Enjoy your books and your week.
Love the covers of your books. Enjoy them and have a great week!
I have been trying to read the occasional print book from my TBR mountain. The ones I've read and no longer want are piling up in my library. I need to find a easy, convenient place to get rid of them. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
As a family we need and want to do another book purge. We do one of these about every two years. We're over due. My weekly update
Great idea to start thinking about reading for 2020. I haven't started to do that but in my head I think about it and want to put something down on paper.
Doesn't moving make us reassess what we have been keeping, Laurel? For better or worse it makes us decide what is worth packing.
Kathy, you would be so proud of me. I'll never be as organized as you are about your pile, but every book on my list is either noted as on a shelf or in a box, and the ones I know are review books have their own shelf.
Thanks, Yvonne. These are some great covers.
Book purges are fun and sometimes challenging, right pussreboots? Glad your family helps.
Kathryn, it all starts in our brains and works it way down to a system. I've get a spreadsheet for years, but now e-books have their own page in the spreadsheet and each book has a location. I almost don't recognize my office. :)
Thanks for visiting, everyone. Hope you have a great week.
I have now brought down my physical book pile to just three. I am still giving away books to reduce the existing piles! My kindle of course has a running book lot!
