Firebrand by P.K. Eden -- Book Review

What if you spent the first twenty-five years of your life not knowing who you really are?

After the fall of the Garden at the beginning of time, the First One divided what was left into three: humans, the fae, and trolls. Each was given a sword to protect future generations while awaiting the fulfillment of the prophecy that foretold of one who would be born from all three bloodlines, who could restore the Garden and bring peace to all worlds.

Amber Drake has no idea she is the Guardian of the Triad; no idea her destiny was written long before her birth. When she was born into the world, the countdown to Armageddon began. Powerful forces don't want the clock stopped. Can those around her help Amber embrace her destiny, even when those closest to her fear what is to come?

I'm not a huge fan of the fantasy genre, but the concept behind Firebrand intrigued me, and I was familiar with Kathye Quick's novel, Cynthia And Constantine, so I decided to give this one a shot.

P.K. Eden, the writing team of Patt Mihailoff and Kathye Quick, created this fantasy romance novel and I'm hoping more collaborations are planned.

In this captivating story of three worlds entwined by the prophecy of the tribred who will bring peace, the reader is quickly catapulted into an amazing romantic adventure. This good versus evil story will have you eagerly turning the pages, never wanting to put the book down until the last word is read. The stakes are high and the danger increases as time is running out. Amber and David are caught in the middle of this journey to Armageddon, each designed to fulfill the destinies that were written long before their births.

A riveting plot, complex characters, and masterful storytelling combine to bring you a fantasy romance you'll want to read more than once. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more books by P.K. Eden.
