One of my favorite things about going on vacation is visiting new and beloved local restaurants. And if you are looking for a vacation filled with beautiful scenery, historic charm, and great food, then Nantucket is just what you crave.
In The Nantucket Restaurant by Pamela Kelly, three sisters, each at their own crossroads, inherit a Nantucket restaurant. This book, the first in a planned series, features the O'Toole sisters--Mandy, Emma, and Jill--who inherit their grandmother's house and Mimi's Place, one of Nantucket's most popular year-round restaurants.
Of course, there is a catch: all three sisters have equally inherited Mimi's Place alongside the executive chef, Paul. Oh, and they'll have to work at the restaurant for one year before they can consider selling it. There is the challenge of the place desperately needing a facelift, and dealing with its declining finances, which they will have to contend with.
Doesn't this sound like a great story! Here is what others have said:
"Who doesn't love a great beach read? Grab your beach chair, umbrella and a cooler full of snacks and enjoy!" ―Susan Wilson, New York Times bestselling author, for The Bookshop by the Bay
"A delightful story about family, friends, and finding our own happiness." ―Jenny Hale, USA Today bestselling author, for The Bookshop by the Bay
