Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Welcome to Tuesday! I haven't participated in this meme since August. Can you believe it? This is one of my favorites. Simply haven't had the brainpower. But, the holidays inspire creativity. Plus storms this time of year mean snow, which gets me thinking of Christmas and other fun stuff. So, here is my list of...
Top Ten Books to Read During a Storm
If you're looking for a book about starting over, romance, and murder
If you're looking for a romance involving an interesting occupation and a dilemma that forces the main characters to team up to solve the problem
If you're looking for a story that blends the magic of Christmas, faith, love, and adventure
If you're looking for a funny and sweet story about fed-up moms and how they change their Christmas and their community
If you are looking for an inspirational romance filled with the spirit of love, faith, and community... which also happens to have a storm in it
If you're looking for a mysterious and magical seasonal romance
If you're up to reading a novel based on a true story about a devastating storm that hit the Great Plains in 1888
If you're looking for a touching children's book that embraces the spirit of giving
If you're searching for a modern retelling of a classic romance
If you're looking for a story filled with romance, magic, and destiny
Seems like romances made up the majority of my list. What kinds/genres of stories do you like to read during a storm?

The Children's Blizzard takes place during the same time as Laura Ingalls Wilder's The Long Winter. I'd love to read about a snowstorm---something I never thought about since I live along the Texas Gulf Coast!
Welcome back!
The Children’s Blizzard was such a good read.
Thank you for the Christmas book recommendations!
Murdered at the Snowed Inn looks good!

Yes, Deb. That's part of why I know about it. I have a nonfiction book about the blizzard, but I haven't been able to read it yet. Thanks for visiting today.
Thanks, Lydia. I love Benjamin's work.
You're welcome, Stefani. Thanks for visiting today.
Agreed, Erin. Tried to leave a comment on your blog but it wouldn't let me. I'm sure it's me. :)
