It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
Welcome to the last Monday of 2020. The next time we post this meme it will be in January 2021! Let's hope turning the calendar will help us turn the corner on this horrible pandemic.
We had a nice Christmas with our children. I was blessed to receive some book gifts, which you can read about here.
On the reading front, I didn't get much accomplished because the days leading up to Christmas were filled with work and holiday preparations.
I am reading the latest by Charlotte Hubbard. This book will be released tomorrow.
Then I will work on reading these for book tours.
Then these ones are next.
I am in the middle of going through my 2021 TBR Pile spreadsheet. I don't have the time right now to go through all my stored books, but I did straighten out and rearrange the shelf in my office, which allowed me to put six books in the "donate to the library" pile.
I am only participating in one blog reading challenge in 2021.
I love cozy mysteries and never seem to read the ones in my pile, so I am hoping this will help. I will probably keep a list on Goodreads as well.
What reading challenges are you participating in next year? How many books do you want to read in 2021? How do you organize your TBR Pile?

Hmm the Cozies challenge might be one I quietly look at. I am just a very light reader of them, but I want to get into some of the series. Happy you got some lovely Christmas gifts.
Wishing you a safe and happy 2021. I'm aiming to read some non-fiction and books are out of my usual genres in 2021, so there are 2 challenges I'm planning on joining in with next year.
Cozy mysteries are some of my favorites, Kathryn, which is why this challenge caught my eye. I hope you discover a series you enjoy. I recommend The Consignment Shop Mysteries or the Cycle Path Mysteries by Duffy Brown. If you like something with an Amish flair, The Amish Bishop Mysteries by Vannetta Chapman would be a good choice.
Good luck with your challenges this year, Louise. I used to read a lot of nonfiction. I need to dive back in one day.
Thanks for visiting!
I am curious about The Wormwood Mysteries. Enjoy your week and your books, and here are my WEEKLY UPDATES
The only challenge I do is at Goodreads. I like to choose books that appeal to me and not just to fit into a category. Also, I'm really bad at keeping track of challenges. Come see my week here. Happy reading and happy new year!
The only actual challenge I do is the Goodreads challenge. But, once we turn the calendar, I'm going to look at my reading stats, see what I want to improve, and set some intentions for myself for the coming year.
Happy New Year! (Melinda @ A Web of Stories)
Thanks for visiting, Laurel. I hope to get to those soon.
Kathy and Melinda, I am not one for challenges really. I never seem to complete them. Hopefully, this year will be a different story.
Thanks for stopping by, everyone. Happy New Year!
Your books look good. The mystery series has my interest. I ended up joining more challenges than I wanted to, but that's okay.
Hope you have a great week and Happy New Year!
