The Book Connection's Summer 2010 Book Giveaway! - Book Pack #1 (Children's)

It starts today! The Book Connection's Summer 2010 Book Giveaway! These giveaways will run once a week through Labor Day week. There are a total of 10 Book Packs up for grabs. Each Book Pack includes a minimum of 3 books.

Book Pack 1 includes:

Review copies of the three-book Emily the Chickadee series by Carol Zelaya: Emily Waits For Her Family, Caring for Emily's Family, and Emily's New Home.

This series of rhyming books follows the trails of Emily the Chickadee as she waits for her new family to arrive, is cared for by the human family whose garden she has built a nest in, and to the new home where she and her family rejoin their human friends. Each book includes a log to encourage youngsters to watch their feathered friends.

Are You Ready for Bed?, a board book by Jane Johnson.


In this book, Mrs. Rabbit's peace is short-lived when after tucking in her children to bed, her baby rabbit starts hopping around and can't sleep, no matter what she tries.

Also included in Book Pack #1 are two books from the Bella series: The Fairy Ball and The Birthday Party by Mandy Stanley.

4. You will receive two additional entries for every friend you refer to this contest. Your friend must become a follower of the blog and leave a comment indicating who referred him/her. This giveaway is only open to residents of the United States and Canada. No emails will be sent to notify the winner. The winner can claim his/her prize by clicking the Contact Me button in the sidebar and sending along his/her mailing address. All winners have 72 hours after their names are announced to claim their prizes. An alternative winner will be selected after the 72 hour window has passed.
