Full Body Orgasm by Oscar Naval
Today's guest blogger is Oscar Naval, author of Full Body Orgasm. Oscar will discuss Body-Centered Psychotherapy...
When we were kids we all dreamed of living a life of adventure, play and joy. But what happened to that dream? Did you go on to fulfill your heartfelt desires, or did you slowly get dragged down by the dull, insistent weight of the world? Stress?
If in your heart you acknowledge that 'yes', perhaps you have compromised on your happiness; these words have met you at the right time. Because understanding the balance of body, mind, and spirit you can awaken the possibility that life is meant to be a stream of unrestrained joy and pleasure.
Body-Centered Psychotherapy is an astounding form of healing. In a nutshell, this therapy is a totally holistic system for personal growth and healing. It unlocks your body's energy channels that have usually been clogged by decades of traumas, stresses and the myriad of niggling problems that life incessantly hurls at us.
Technically, this healing modality deals with how information flows between the non-material realm of intentions, thoughts, and feelings to and from the physical world of your body. How that information is communicated throughout your body and how you structure yourself in response to that information, adds to or subtracts from your quality of life.
Many physical illnesses are caused by dis-ease or not being at-ease with your current information (thoughts), beliefs, or feelings. Over the last century there has been a rise in things like high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and numerous types of cancer. Could stress be the cause?
The Body-Centered Psychotherapist works on these causes of dis-ease in our society. These are system difficulties involving breakdowns in information flow between different systems in your body. Various parts of your body begin to get mis-leading, not enough, or stressed information causing erroneous cell growth or lack of proper cell development.
This is analogous to a well-designed house constructed from great building materials but due to the environmental stress over time the environmental control or functional systems of the house begin to malfunction, communicate information incorrectly, or break down. For example, the thermostat measures the correct temperature but is no longer in communication with the furnace or air conditioner. Possibly the thermostat communicates correctly with the environmental systems, but nonetheless is giving incorrect or misleading information. Or the toilet tank float no longer recognizes that it is full and communicates to plumbing to keep the water flowing even though the tank is full.
Another analogy would be that the computer’s hardware is working fine but the software gives erroneous information causing a malfunction. When the system has some bugs you many times need to ‘restart’ or ‘reboot’ the system.
Body-Centered Psychotherapy is a way to ‘reboot’ your system. By using analytical techniques in conjunction with body movement, exercise, or massage a person would begin to reset his or her body-mind connection. With strong intention and working with belief systems a spiritual component is also used to accelerate their process of getting in touch with a person’s full range of feelings.
You truly are ‘the light of the world’ because emotional feelings are like light. If you don’t like a certain color of light and are in denial of its existence then you would be distorting the way you see the world. For example, if you judged blue as being “bad” and removed it from the light spectrum, then the world would appear yellow. Or if you just didn’t like the feeling of green then your world would be colored purple. Remove a spectrum of light from the rainbow then you would distort your perception of the world. You will literally color your world. If you remove any feeling from your spectrum of emotions then you will distort you perception of the world.
For example, a person may feel a longing to connect with other people in a meaningful way. They may have had repeated failed relationships in their life stemming from early abandonment issues. By using this information in conjunction with breathing techniques the suppressed feelings can come forth. Thus, feelings that may have been have not been conscious would now come to the surface. Now these feelings are conscious the person would no longer self-sabotage their relationships.
This is a very simple example but illustrates the power of simply getting in touch with your deep, true feelings that may have been previously unknown or judged as ‘bad’. If you feel it you can heal it. Culturally, we judge some feelings like anger and fear as ‘bad’ while we judge others like joy and love as ‘good’. All feelings are not good or bad; they just are.
Feel, Be, and Open (F.B.O.) yourself to the full spectrum of life and the world will be a colorful place.
In his controversial titled new book, FULL BODY ORGASM – YOUR ENERGY TO LOVE, HEALTH, WEALTH, AND HAPPINESS, Oscar Naval describes the full spectrum of emotion, the information flow in mind, body & spirit, and how to have a life of unrestrained joy and pleasure in every aspect of life.
About the Book:
FULL BODY ORGASM is about feeling unrestrained joy and pleasure in every way, everyday!
This book takes a holistic view of the meaning and the function of the orgasm in the broader sense of the word as it relates not only to sexuality (the body) but in the mind and spirit as well. Living in a physical world where you may commute to work, buy groceries, cook the meals, pay the bills, raise your children, clean the house and go on vacations, you can balance and live a life of peak experiences in everything you do.
The full body orgasm (FBO) is continuous joy and pleasure that opens the doors of peak experiences in all aspects of life. In other words, if you can fully experience that energy of an FBO, then you will experience joy and pleasure in everything you do in life.
About the Author:
Oscar Naval is one of a kind. When you meet him, you’ll never forget him.
He grew up in San Francisco’s Mission District, a neighborhood where the local grocer would shoot burglars on site and his a childhood friend ended up in prison for murder. Not the beginnings most would wish for their child.
However, perhaps in spite of these beginnings, or perhaps because of them, his whole life has been a quest for true happiness and joy. Not that bottled champagne- cork frivolity that one feels when someone cracks a particularly funny joke- but that effervescent, undeniable, long lasting joy that oozes from some people in the most contagious way.
His quest took him all over the world, learning philosophies, tools, techniques and soaking in experiences. He went from the British Isles to the Oracle at Delphi, from the red earth of Utah to the spiritual spots of Sedona. In Hawaii he discovered the depth and richness of native Hawaiian spirituality. When he moved to Australia, he found his spiritual family and loving lasting marriage.
Oscar cheekily swears that life should consistently feel like a “Full Body Orgasm”. A graphic term, but perhaps the best way to communicate to those “Doubting Thomases” how extraordinary it is possible to feel each and every day.
Oscar is the author of the controversial book Full Body Orgasm – Your Energy to Love, Health, Wealth, and Happiness. He and his wife Lisa, now dedicate their lives to assisting others to live their own “FBO Life”. When they’re not playing trains with their 3 year old son, Mikey, that is.
Oscar Naval has a Diploma of Body-Centered Psychotherapy in Core Energetics. He is a certified Hawaiian Lomi-lomi massage therapist.
