Studs for Hire: Woman on Top by Sherry James--Book Review

Funny, sensual, and deliciously enjoyable Studs for Hire: Woman on Top is a sexy romance lover's dream.

Tired of being overlooked in a male-dominated business world, Sydnie Riley and her friends, Casey and Terri create Studs for Hire, a contracting firm loaded with sexy carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.

In walks Trevor Vanden Bosch, the guy who got the promotion that Sydnie deserved...and broke her heart. Seems he's down on his luck, having been fired from the advertising firm where he and Sydnie worked. Against her better judgment Sydnie gives him a job. But why does Syd find herself attracted to the man who deceived her? Has Trevor really changed? And is Sydnie willing to put her business and her heart on the line when she's not really sure she can trust him?

Woman on Top is a sinful pleasure. It hooked me from the first page and never let me go until the very last word. Then I wanted to read it all over again.

With such a title, you might be quick to dismiss this as a book with little substance, but you would be so wrong. Sherry James has taken great pains to thoroughly develop her characters and to push them to their limits. You ache for Sydnie as she muddles through her conflicting feelings for Trevor. There are moments when you despise Trevor, interspersed with moments when you're praying that he wins Sydnie's heart.

The cover art alone should be enough to convince you to buy it. The color scheme is nicely done, and I love the hammer and the heart pierced with a nail logo displayed against the black on top.

And the guy on the front isn't hard to look at either!

Woman on Top made me laugh and left me breathless. Funny, sexy romances don't get any better than this! This is going to be a great series.
