First Chapter Review: Affiliate Marketing for Beginners by Audrey K. Andado

I received a digital copy of this business book from Pump Up Your Book for this author's virtual book tour.

BLURB: Embark on a journey of transformation with Affiliate Marketing for Beginners, where financial freedom is within reach for anyone willing to take the leap. Meet Audrey K. Andado, a seasoned expert in finance, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing, dedicated to empowering individuals through affiliate marketing.

The story begins with a relatable tale of financial struggle, only to discover the game-changing potential of affiliate marketing. Audrey's passion for helping others achieve financial freedom shines through, backed by years of experience in online ventures.

This book's purpose is crystal clear: demystify affiliate marketing and provide a step-by-step roadmap for beginners. Expect a stress-free guide, carefully curated to simplify complex concepts and foster a community of confident entrepreneurs.

Covering niche selection, content creation, traffic generation, and monetization, this book offers actionable insights and real-world examples. However, it steers clear of advanced strategies and technical jargon, ensuring accessibility for all.

Ethical marketing takes center stage, emphasizing transparency and trust-building with your audience. Motivational messages peppered throughout inspire action, inviting readers to unlock their potential and take control of their financial future.

Embark on this transformative voyage. Unlock your potential, transform your life, and take control of your financial future with Affiliate Marketing for Beginners. It's not just a book; it's your first step towards a thriving online business. Embrace the call to action, engage with the lessons, and ignite your affiliate marketing journey today.

COVER: This is such a fun, colorful, and eye-catching cover. It reflects different aspects of the subject matter and how they fit together like the pieces of a puzzle. How clever!

FIRST CHAPTER: After an introduction that starts out with a personal story, an introduction to the author, and what this book will and won't cover, the engaging first chapter brings you through a lot of information, including: the history of affiliate marketing, what caused it to grow, and what the future looks like, before giving a brief overview that shares the benefits of affiliate marketing and discusses legalities, ethical marketing, and different marketing paths.

KEEP READING: Considering this is a topic of great interest to me, my answer is a resounding yes. Andado has a background in finance, entrepreneurship, and marketing, which makes her the perfect candidate to write Affiliate Marketing for Beginners. She speaks conversationally, but with a confident knowledge of her topic.

I love the selected format, which features an opening paragraph followed by numbered sections with headings to let the reader know what each section is about. This also allows you to easily scroll back and find what you want to read again. The Table of Contents also makes finding what you need easy. I skipped ahead to the end to check out the numerous additional resources created, which is always a great bonus.

I'm looking forward to diving into this one more soon!

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? - July 29

Welcome to It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

Welcome to the last Monday in July! That sure was fast. We are preparing to bring the Lil' Princess back to college. Where did the summer go?

My garden is limping along. I've got three peppers, two tomatoes, and a couple of cucumbers. The herbs are doing well. I'll see what the potatoes look like. The berry bushes are coming in nicely. The only thing that is going gangbusters are the mini-pumpkin plants. They have taken over that corner of the yard. Pumpkins don't tend to like my yard; they flower, pumpkins start to grow, and then they die. Not sure I will plant them again.

Hubby invested in some goofy hats to protect us from bugs

I updated my look with the first pair of shades I've had in 30 years and some new eyeglasses

Reading is also limping along. I reviewed this cute and fun picture book at my children's book blog. You can read my review here.

I finished this one, so hopefully my review appears this week. If you enjoy women's fiction, Sheila Roberts is an author you should check out.

I should finish this one soon.

I won't make a July review for this one, so looks like August.

NetGalley says I have 12 days to read this one.

These are next.

After that, I am in the mood to grab something from my TBR pile. Maybe this one.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Mailbox Monday - Nov 6

Welcome to It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Mailbox Monday.

Welcome to November! Hard to believe the month of thanksgiving is already here. We are in Wilmington visiting the Lil' Princess for her birthday. Guess what? We have no more teenagers. We survived!

Theo also celebrated a  birthday on November 1.

Last week, I visited the photographer to update my professional photos. What do you think? Which is your favorite?

I am more than 250 words ahead on my NaNoWriMo project. I also have created a few more scenes to help me continue along this writing journey. With dedicating time to writing, I am not reading as much this month. However, I will have books for December.

I finished this one and loved it. The author's latest seasonal novel has all you have come to expect from her stories: love, humor, and dramatic moments. I'm also a firm believer in holding onto the spirit of Christmas throughout the year. Look for my review on November 21.

This review will go live on November 20.

I didn't make it to this one on Audible this week.

I read some of this one in the car. This is a long book, and I'm a little over half way through it.

Upcoming virtual book tours:
  • Resparking Creativity by Fatemah Mirza & Sumayyah Rafiq - November 20 (review)
  • The 12 Months of Christmas by Sheila Roberts - November 21 (review)
  • The King Who Lost His Colors by Glen Liset - November 27 (review at TC&TBC)
  • Scrapper's Christmas Story by Maria J. Andrade - December 4 (review at TC&TBC)
  • The Location Shoot by Patricia Leavy - January 31 (interview)

At Christmas Year Round last week:

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

My physical mailbox was empty last week, but I scooped up this free Kindle seasonal novella, which is the third in a series.

As Bluestar Island prepares for a very special Christmas wedding, Santa’s sleigh crashes into The Lighthouse Café, reuniting Bluestar’s beloved waitress with her former fiancé.

In this holiday novella, Darla Evans has carved out a quiet life for herself as a waitress at The Lighthouse Café. Up until this point, she’s conveniently avoided the one man who shattered her heart and her dreams. But when a wedding draws him back to the island, she knows their meetup is unavoidable.

Tech entrepreneur William “Will” Campbell has returned to his childhood home to be the best man in his father’s wedding. But first his father has a very special task for him—to restore a sleigh in time for the wedding. However, there’s not much time until Christmas. He just might need some help.

As snowflakes cover the small town of Bluestar, Will and Darla work together to make it a very special holiday wedding. With the past looming between them, will the magic of the season open their hearts and allow them to find love again?

Includes a holiday recipe for Darla’s frosted sugar cookies!

Quick question before I let you go. Does anyone else use The Cutest Blog on the Block for their backgrounds? Seems the website is down, so I might be stuck on fall forever. Just curious if you had heard anything.

That's it for me this week. Hope you enjoy your blogging days.

Welcome back to Monday! Here in the States it is Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples' Day. As I am writing this, I don't have appointments scheduled, but that can swiftly change. This past week was filled with appointments, meetings, some great food, and attending a client's wedding. It is one of the many joys of my career that many clients become friends.

Hung three of these SOLD riders this week

Husband and I visited The Yarde Tavern for lunch on Sunday

Made another HelloFresh meal

If you check out the sample online, you will notice I am listed as a guest and contributed a few short stories.

At Christmas Year Round last week:

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

I bought a copy of this book from Amazon as part of Glenys Nellist's launch team. As a thank you, I received another copy of this book. I am giving both away at the Christmas Year Round blog.

Also in that delivery was a copy of this beautiful book.

On Saturday, this book by one of my favorite Christmas women's fiction writers arrived.

That's it for me this week. Hope you also had a nice week. Looking forward to visiting your blogs.
