It's Monday! What Are You Reading? - Jan 27

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

Welcome to the last Monday in January. That first month sure flew by. Hope you had a nice week. Mine was abundantly productive. I reorganized the pantry, the refrigerator, and a closet, made a donation pile for clothes and bags, and the majority of my Christmas decorations are down. Two of the six trees are still up. I've been going through all my Christmas decorations to see what is still worth holding onto and reorganizing it all so I will have an easier time next year.

Here are some photos from our week:

It snowed in New England, in Wilmington, and on the Outer Banks.

Wrightsville Beach in NC. The Lil' Princess saw people surfing that day.

Travis thinks Christmas decorations are his toys.

In my reading world, I finished this one and posted a review on Sunday. You can read it here.

Making good progress on this one.

Reading these two.

These are next.

Bought five books last week for less than $40. All of these will be added to my Ingalls Wilder collection. I've read Young Pioneers and Free Land but wanted to own them.

I also downloaded this one to my Kindle for only 99 cents.

On Chirp, I am listening to this one.

Upcoming events:
  • Review of Ghosting Academy by LS Delorme - Feb 3 (Review)

At the Christmas Year Round blog, you can find funny photos of the pets from the holiday season. Click here.

Posted a new fanfiction story at Laura's Little Houses titled, "My Funny Valentine." You can read it here.

That's it from me. Looking forward to visiting your blogs.

Your pictures look like what I see out my window from December until March. Pretty if you are looking at it out a window. Congrats on all the reorganizing. I did my pantry cupboard and am resting on my laurels. Great assortment of books too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

I need to get busy and put together a donation pile for the Clothing Outlet here! You had an amazingly productive week!

I could do with some of that clean up energy. Well of course the cat would think the decorations were there for entertainment! Happy reading.

I've started taking the holiday decorations down, but now I'm waiting for my husband to bring in the bins so I can finish and pack everything away. I know the cats would like to have the tree gone so the couch can be put back in place and they can sit in the window again. Thank you for sharing your snow photos with us. The snow looks so pretty. We've been enjoying much needed rain here. I hope you are enjoying your reading and have a great week!

Snow! And boy did this month fly by? I thought so too.

50 New Testament looks good.

I agree, Kathy. I don't want to drive in the snow. Thanks. Organization is long overdue. Appreciate the visit.

Thanks, Deb. I really did. I try to put together a pile at least four times a year. Appreciate you stopping by.

I don't know if I was fueled by energy or plain determination, Kathryn. Cats are such goofballs. Thanks for visiting.

I have to wait for help a lot of times, too, Literary Feline. Hope your cats enjoy when everything goes back to normal. Appreciate the visit.
