Welcome to It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Mailbox Monday.
It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
Welcome to The Book Connection! It's hard to believe this little blog has been going for close to 17 years. What a blessing to have met so many wonderful authors and bloggers along the way. When this blog hits 20, might be time for a party.
This week, I continued to acclimate to my new brokerage. The new signs are in, and my office is almost completely furnished. I just need two more chairs.
I listed a historical home this week; the kind that if I had a bottomless wallet I would buy and restore. You can see it here.
The Eastfield Mall is now totally demolished. Makes me sad--at least we have our memories--but I am eager to drive by the new development as it progresses. Expecting a new shopping center by summer 2025.
In my reading world, I finished this book and reviewed it here.
I continued with this devotional and two others for Lent.
I'm reading these three.
Next are these.
Upcoming virtual book tours:
- Six Moons, Seven Gods by Robert A. Walker - Mar 4 (spotlight)
- Universally Adored and Other One Dollar Stories by Elizabeth Bruce - Mar 12 (interview)
- It Will Have Been So Beautiful by Amanda Shaw - Apr 25 (review)
- My Career Journal by CareerTuners - May 1 (review)
- Be Resilient in Your Career by Dr. Helen Ofosu - May 16 (review)
At Christmas Year Round, we talked about Christmas Club Savings Account. Do you remember those? Did you ever have one?
Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.
These fours books are known as A Prairie Legacy series by Janette Oke. They continue the Davis family saga with Marty and Clark's granddaughter, Virginia. I happened upon them while browsing for information on the fictional Davis family. Picked these up on eBay for only $10.
That's it from my neck of the woods. Looking forward to visiting your blogs and finding out what you are reading and sharing.

Thanks, ladies. He's done some restoration work already, but more left to be done.
Hope you all have a nice week.
Oh my goodness, that is so cheap for such a beautiful house! Real estate prices are insane here in Australia
