It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Mailbox Monday - May 23

Welcome to It's Monday! What Are You Reading? and Mailbox Monday.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

Here we are back to Monday. Sorry I am so slow in getting back to all your blogs to reciprocate comments from last week. In addition to the Lil' Princess' graduation coming up on Saturday, I am up against a couple of deadlines. I still have one manuscript to edit, and by Wednesday I need to have all my post-licensing education for North Carolina completed. I took a little break to enjoy a Red Sox game, but I had my laptop with me to listen to lessons on the way to Boston and on the way home.

It was an amazing game and we had great seats. The game went into an extra inning, and the Red Sox were gipped scoring a run at home plate. Moments later, Franchy Cordero hit a walk-off grand slam that won the game. They swept the series against the Mariners.

As far as reading goes, it is almost non-existent. My review on this one is coming.

A First Chapter Review of this one is coming on Thursday.

I am reading these books now.

These are next:

Review coming June 7 at TC&TBC

Review coming June 22 at TC&TBC

Maybe by the time vacation rolls around I will get to these:

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came in their mailbox during the last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

This one arrived in the middle of the week from one of my favorite authors. I am happy to be reading a new book in a series I love.

I also have a NetGalley copy of this book to read.

That's it from me. Hope you have a wonderful week. Wish me luck in getting everything done in time.

I am borrowing lots of books from NetGalley, too many, really. A great resource for ARCs. Happy reading week!

I hear ya! Life's been busy, and I am so far behind on writing reviews. Looks like you have a lot of good books coming up, though!

My son gave me The House on Tradd Street by Karen White for my birthday last summer, and I definitely want to read more of the series.

Enjoy your books this week!

Thanks, everyone. I am so glad you stopped by. I even visited all your blogs today.

Harvee, I am getting used to NetGalley, but it's not my favorite.

Laurel, hope you get to that Karen White book.

Mary, it was an exciting game toward the end. I wonder if the hubby watches on MLB.TV. He prefers live games, but he definitely watches.

Sue, I hope you get to the Tradd Street series. It was well done. I was sorry to see it end, but new things are good, too.

Appreciate the comments, gang.

I am glad you took a little time out to enjoy a game, so important to take a break even though you are so busy at present.

It sure sounds like a busy time for you. I am finishing CLE courses too, so I understand having to give up enjoyment listening for learning listening. :-)
Have a good week and Happy Reading if you get to some!
