WWW Wednesdays - September 12th

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

My answers:

What are you currently reading?

I recently started The IRA on Film and Television by Mark Connelly. It's very academic and filled with tons of information. I'm enjoying it so far, but it's a slow read.

For fun, I am also reading Farmer Boy Goes West by Heather Williams. Meant to be a sequel to Laura Ingalls Wilder's Farmer Boy, this tells the story of Almanzo Wilder's visit to Spring Valley, Minnesota with his parents, younger brother, and older sister, Alice. The Wilders would eventually leave New York and settle in Spring Valley.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished The Deliverer by Kathi Macias. This is the third and final book in her Freedom Series. This is a powerful book, as are the first two books in this series that deals with the topic of human trafficking. I highly recommend them.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Attorney-Client Privilege by Pamela Samuels Young is probably next. I'm due to review it next month. I've read other legal thrillers by this author and loved them. When I heard she was going on tour again, I signed up right away.

Here's the synopsis:

A brutal murder, missing documents and an unscrupulous opposing counsel lead attorney Vernetta Henderson on a quest for justice—and ultimately—revenge. The hotshot L.A. lawyer takes on a corporation with a long history of discriminating against women. While Vernetta simply wants justice for her clients, the corporation’s hired gun wants to win . . . and she doesn’t care how. On the home front, Vernetta’s infamous sidekick Special has finally found true love. But is the price more than she’s willing to pay?
