Musing Mondays - December 7

Before getting into this week's post, I would like to take a moment to remember Pearl Harbor Day. May we never forgot those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom.

Musing Mondays is a weekly meme sponsored by Jenn of A Daily Rhythm that asks you to choose one of the following prompts to answer:
  • I’m currently reading…
  • Up next I think I’ll read…
  • I bought the following book(s) in the past week…
  • I’m super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish-news)…
  • I’m really upset by (book/author/bookish-news)…
  • I can’t wait to get a copy of…
  • I wish I could read ___, but…
  • I blogged about ____ this past week…
THIS WEEK’S RANDOM QUESTION:Of course, IMHO, any time is a great time to read — but, if you were forced to choose the best season for reading (in your own opinion), what would it be? Why?

Awesome question. Jenn has been doing a great job of coming up with unique and interesting questions for Musing Mondays. Thanks, Jenn!

Since seasonal fiction is my favorite, can you guess what time of year is best for me? I recently shared some of my seasonal favorites in a blog post. You can view it here. Seasonal fiction blends my two favorite things: Christmas and reading. How can I go wrong?

Here is a list of seasonal titles I've picked up recently for my Kindle:

A Ghost for Christmas by J. D. Winters (Now 99 cents)
A Christmas Gift by Stella Wilkinson (Free)
Bubba and the 12 Deadly Days of Christmas by C. L. Bevill (Free)
Star of Wonder by Tracy Higley (Free)
Christmas at Pebble Creek by Vannetta Chapman (Free)

When is your favorite time to read?

Any time, keeping up with the blog means that I have to be pretty consistent with reading.

Sounds like you'll be having a very seasonal reading list this season! :)

Thanks for visiting, ladies. Free books definitely keep me well stocked in reading material, Kwizgiver. Breana, it sure helps to stay on top of reading when you blog. I've fallen behind the past couple of years. Geraldine, I hope I get a chance to read some of these seasonal titles. I truly love them.

MizB, thanks so much for stopping by. I'm glad you're able to keep up with all these blog memes you run. I am looking forward to the new changes you have on the way too.
