The Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge is hosted by Long and Short Reviews. They offer this blog hop as a weekly prompt to help you gain new friends and visitors. You don't have to participate every week, but if you decide to post and join the blog hop for a week, Long and Short Reviews asks that you share your link on their weekly post on their website (it will be the top post on the home page each Wednesday morning). The link list remains open for new links for 48 hours. Visit the other bloggers participating to see what they discuss that week. Comments are appreciated.
Happy Wednesday! This is such a fun topic. Sometimes it is harder when you think about it too much. I shared some of these earlier in the year, but I am adding new ones as well.
“The truth of God's love is not that He allows bad things to happen, it's his promise that he will be there with us--when they do.” - Clark Davis, Love Comes Softly
"Isn’t it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?" Anne Shirley, Anne of Green Gables
"I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship." - Amy March, Little Women
“It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” - Dumbledore, Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets
Anne is FULL of wonderful quotes. I'm especially fond of the October quote and the "Are you killed?" ones.
ReplyDelete"Are you killed?" We could never forget that one. Thanks for visiting, Stephen.
DeleteI love the quotes from Little Women and The Thorn Birds.
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing ones, George. The Thorn Birds one makes Ralph seem more human.
DeleteI really should read The Thornbirds sometime!
ReplyDeleteAnd, yeah, the Anne books are full of beautiful quotes.
The Thorn Birds is wonderful and long. When I read it again, I skip a lot of the description.
DeleteThat Harry Potter quote was a bit prophetic, I think! I do love that quote from Little Women, too!
ReplyDeleteHere is my post.
I've actually used that quote in a speech. Glad you like these quotes.
DeleteThat's a very nice selection of quotes.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michael.
DeleteA nice selection. I've never read "Thorn Birds" either.
ReplyDeleteThe Thorn Birds is an investment of time, Priscilla, but one I think is worth it. Hope you read it one day.
