Welcome to August! How was your week? Busy one for me, but sure beats being bored. Posting early because I have appointments Monday morning.
We had family over on Sunday because the Lil' Princess is headed back to college next Monday. Feels like such a short summer. We had a BBQ... at least before the rain came. Now, I don't have to water the garden. I was cooking, so I didn't take any photos, but here are a few from the week.
Toured a house built in 1723. Not often these come up for sale. Check out the wooden tools and the coffee grinder.

I have managed to keep this plant alive and thriving since February. You have no idea how tough that is for me.
Had more reading time this week. Hope to post my review of this one soon.

Hard time getting into this one. Maybe it's because of the stress that I only have five days left on NetGalley.

ReplyDeleteI've had that problem with stressing out over a NetGalley book. I'm trying to do better with my NetGalley books, but it doesn't always work out.

Yvonne, that is the one issue with NetGalley, isn't it? I love it otherwise.
Kathryn, you should smell it. If you ever went to a historical site where that had an old house, it has that smell to it. Second favorite smell in the world. First one is bookstores filled with old, used books.
