It's Monday! What Are You Reading? - Dec 21

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

Welcome to the Monday before Christmas--for those of you who celebrate. I always think I will be much more ahead of myself than I ever am by this time of the month. On the good side: my shopping is done; I have wrapped half the gifts; most of the grocery shopping is done. The cards still aren't done, but that is my plan for Tuesday. At this point, they won't arrive in time anyway, so what is one more day?

On the reading front, I posted two reviews:

I will start the latest by Charlotte Hubbard today. This book will be released on December 29.

Then I will work on reading these for book tours.

Then these ones are next.

I need to do my best to stay on track and not request too many book tour books for review this year.

That's it for me this week. I hope you have a safe and happy holiday season.

  2. Last year I discovered the joy of using bags rather than wrapping everything - the gifts were done in a fraction of the usual time. I did have to remind everyone that I wanted the bags back to reuse again this year though πŸ˜‚.

Enjoy the holiday and happy reading.

  3. I’ve given up on cards, I never seem to be prepared enough and really no one else seems to bother.
I already have a ridiculously long list of books scheduled for the new year, despite my pledge lol

Wishing you a great reading week, and a merry Christmas πŸŽ„

  6. Good you are organised pretty well for Christmas. I've not done any cards this year. I usually post some to Ireland but not sure post would get through so left it. Hope you are able to stay clear of at least a few tour books! Have a great Christmas.

  7. I'm glad you're mostly done! We finished up a bunch of shopping over the weekend and that felt good! Christmas is getting near...

I think the Wormwood Mysteries look good. Have a merry Christmas!

  8. How nice to come home from work and see all these comments.

    Great to see you, Melinda.

Louise, I love bags, too. The cats love them too much, which is why I still wrap many presents. Maybe once the youngest cats are older bags will be a safe choice.

Shelleyrae, I usually write a Christmas letter and tuck it into the cards. People are used to it coming late these last few years.

Kathy and Ashley, how nice of you to stop by.

Kathryn, I will have to use a lot of willpower to avoid those books on tour.

Greg, I hope you check out the Wormwood Mysteries.

Thanks for visiting, everyone. Happy holidays!
